We recently displayed our ability to “wow” one of our clients after completing the manufacturing of a custom heat exchanger. The HE-2403 heat exchanger was made of stainless steal, “109 long, “47 tall and “50 wide. It was shipped to Virginia and received with a smiling face.
“We work closely with our clients to develop the most effective solutions for their process, design, manufacturing and budget requirements,” says Fred Weissbach, Gulf Coast Sales Manager for Bendel. “We are your one-stop shop for all your designing, engineering and manufacturing needs.”
Bendel Heat Exchangers
A heat exchanger is a piece of equipment built for efficient heat transfer from one medium to another. The media may be separated by a solid wall, so that they never mix, or they may be in direct contact. They are widely used in space heating, refrigeration, air conditioning, power plants, chemical plants, petrochemical plants, petroleum refineries, natural gas processing, and sewage treatment. A good example of a heat exchanger can be found in an internal combustion engine in which a circulating fluid known as engine coolant flows through radiator coils and air flows past the coils, which cools the coolant and heats the incoming air.
Shell & tubesheet heat exchangers are the most common type of heat exchanger used in the chemical process industry. As its name implies, this type of heat exchanger consists of a shell filled with a bundle of tubes and sealed at each end by a tubesheet isolating the tubes and the shell.
Bendel specializes in the design and fabrication of shell & tubesheet heat Exchangers to ASME and TEMA specifications. Whether you require a thermal analysis or mechanical design only, Bendel can optimize your performance requirements utilizing the latest Compress and HTRI software programs.
